Our team

“The happiest man in the world is the one who makes the most people happy”

For the well-being of the children, the different actors in the school’s day-to-day operations (staff, parents, external parties) need to get along and work in harmony. The focus is on mutual respect and team spirit.

The Founder and Director

Vincent Rosa

After graduating from HEC (Hautes Etudes Commerciales) in 2002, I started my career in Paris as a financial auditor at Ernst & Young, before holding various positions in several large international groups (Louis Dreyfus, Société Générale, Standard Chartered Bank) in Paris, then in Singapore since 2006.

In 2012, I left the wonderful world of large groups with no regrets and embarked on an entrepreneurial project with La Petite Ecole, alongside my wife Viviane Salin.

What was initially a family project (a bilingual school for our two children, now aged 12 and 10) has turned into an entrepreneurial adventure. We have grown and learnt to surround ourselves with experts to carry out our projects.

After three years of success, we opened La Petite Crèche in order to offer a more comprehensive service to families in Singapore. Two years later, we took up the double challenge of launching La Petite Ecole in Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City concurrently.

Since 2019, I have assumed the management of the group La Petite Ecole, in close collaboration with our School Principals, and more particularly with Maria Lamrani Alaoui, Pedagogical Director of the group.

Head of Playgroup

Valériane Morello

Playgroup supervisor and French-speaking teacher

Originally from the North of France, I work as a Professeur des écoles (school teacher). I have taught classes of different levels for six years, and I have also worked as a volunteer for associations supporting sick or handicapped children, before following my life partner to Singapore. Settled in this little corner of Asia for seven years, we live an experience rich in discoveries and encounters.

After teaching in a language school and giving private tuitions, I joined the team at La Petite Crèche in 2015 and participated in setting it up. I am delighted to welcome your little ones in a caring and green environment, where they’ll discover the world, play and evolve at their own pace.

I have a passion for the arts & crafts, so I undertook training to use arts as a means to stimulate children’s creativity and development while helping them acquire new skills.

I am the mother of a seven year old. Outside of work, I practice geocaching, hiking, travelling and cooking; I also enjoy observing fauna.

The Teachers

OH SIN HWA Karesia

Early Childhood English-Speaking Teacher
It is nice to meet you, my name is Karesia. I am born and raised here in sunny Singapore and I have been an Early Childhood English Teacher for four years. Being a firm believer that every child is different and capable in their own way, I devote my career to raising a generation of empathetic and independent thinkers. The world is our classroom and incidental learning experiences help to pique children's curiosity about the world we live in. So I love immersing myself in nature, the largest classroom of all! I look forward to working closely with you to help our little ones reach their milestones in a happy manner. May our time together be filled with exciting and enriching experiences for our little ones!

Sera Khanisen

Early Childhood English-Speaking Teacher
I graduated in 2012 as a certified pre-school English speech and drama teacher; focusing on speech, phonics and using theatre to make learning English fun. I worked with La Petite Ecole Singapore for 3 years as a teaching assistant in GS and was simultaneously assigned to teach Creative Learning and to be their ESL and English relief teacher in my span of time there. It was a great environment that allowed me to improve my skills by choreographing many dance and drama showcases with my classes. In 2018, I joined La Petite Crèche as an English-speaking teacher, before moving to Hong Kong briefly, where I worked in a French bilingual kindergarten with TPS, PS and MS children. It is a great pleasure to be back at La Petite Crèche.

Jeanne Lopez

Early Childhood French-speaking Teacher
Born in Singapore, I was enrolled to learn French as a second language during my secondary school days. After my O Levels, I pursued a course in Early Childhood Studies (ECS) at Temasek Polytechnic. As part of the ECS curriculum, I had the opportunity to do my internship at a My First Skool childcare. Following my internship, I worked as a relief teacher with NTUC First Campus at various My First Skool childcares which I continued during my polytechnic & university annual holidays between August 2013 and February 2020. Having harnessed a passion for the French language and culture, in 2014, I landed in Poitiers, a charming little town in France, where I pursued a bachelor's degree in Linguistics & French Sign Language. Upon completion of my bachelor’s degree from Université de Poitiers, I proceeded to do a master's degree in French as a foreign language whereby I did my internship in Croatia and Ukraine. My five years’ stay abroad gave me the opportunity to acquire a range of experiences which allowed me to perceive the world differently. Outside of work, I absolutely love going hiking. Being highly attracted to languages, I also like learning new languages.

Support Team

Li Tao

Lunchtime Assistant
I come from China, where I graduated and worked as an automation engineer for 7 years. I moved to Indonesia for 3 years from 2015 to 2018 to follow my husband. Both our children were born there. Spending time with my 2 kids, making handicrafts and playing games together, became a real passion. I enjoy the look on their faces when they discover a new texture, a new fun walk, or a new way to create art... After arriving in Singapore in 2018, we visited several nurseries to find a good place for our daughter Emilie. La Petite Crèche corresponded perfectly to what I dreamt of for my kids. My daughter had a lot of fun there while improving both her French and her English (the languages we speak at home, in addition to Mandarin). A great learning journey with lots of fun, which inspired me to do the same at home.  When I heard that La Petite Crèche was looking for someone to assist during lunch time, it seemed like a perfect fit. I have been a happy member of the team since January.

Fanny Piovarcsy

Communication, Marketing & Human Resources Manager
After working as a Personal Assistant in the Financial Sector in London, I decided that a creative career would be more fulfilling. I enjoy adding strings to my bow, and all the challenges that come with it! I studied Graphic Design in Prague, then worked as a freelance designer in Singapore, the perfect occasion to get some insight into the local culture. I joined La Petite Ecole’s team 3 years ago, at a very exciting time of expansion. La Petite Ecole offered me the opportunity to work in an ever-changing environment, and give meaningful purpose to my multiple experiences, as working in Education is highly rewarding. Having two wonderful children myself, I enjoy working in a benevolent and passionate team driven by the wellbeing of the children. Today, I am in charge of Communication and Marketing across SEA, as well as part of HR.
